EuroQCS-France selected by the European Joint Undertaking EuroHPC
HQI is very proud to announce that EuroHPC selected the EuroQCS-France consortium – led by GENCI and including our partners CEA, FZJ, ICHEC and UPB – to host and operate a photonic quantum computer ! It will be coupled with Joliot Curie, just like the quantum simulator from Pasqal acquired in the framework of HPCQS.
Numerous use cases in the fields of electromagnetic simulation, structural mechanics, engine combustion, material simulation, and also meteorology and earth observation will be explored to unlock the potential of this new device and benchmark its performances.
VivaTech 2022
France Hybrid Quantum Initiative (HQI) promotes its HPC hybrid quantum computing technologies for innovation
The French Hybrid Quantum Initiative (HQI) will be exhibiting for the first time at VivaTech (booth G60) from June 15 to 18. Launched in January 2022, one year after the announcement of the National Quantum Plan, by the coordinator of the national quantum strategy Neil Abroug, HQI will present the technologies and services it will make available to researchers and innovation players. On this occasion, the contract between GENCI and the French company Pasqal for the acquisition of a 100-qubit quantum computer will be officially signed under the high patronage of the General Secretariat for Investment and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
